KORN, CHRIS CORNELL Confirmed For South Africa's MY COKE FEST
October 23, 2007Billboard.com reports that KORN and CHRIS CORNELL have been announced as two of the headliners for next year's two-date My Coke Fest, taking place in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.
Promoters Big Concerts have revealed that a total of 10 bands will be playing at the festival, which will be held at Johannesburg's New Market Racecourse on March 21 before moving to the Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town on March 24.
In 2006, the My Coke Fest debuted under the name Coca-Cola Colab and featured METALLICA as headliners. The 2007 lineup included HOOBASTANK, STAIND, 3 DOORS DOWN and EVANESCENCE; GUNS N' ROSES pulled out of its scheduled appearance at just days before it took place in late April and early May.
